	1-23-12 Mutual-Aid MVA With Injuries, Route 9 In Garrison
	On Monday January 23 at approximately 7am the Continental Village and Garrison Fire Departments along with Garrison Ambulance were dispatched to Route 9 for a report of a head-on collision with extrication.  While units were responding they were updated that extrication was in fact not needed and were advised of extremely icy road conditions.  When units arrived on scene they discovered that two vehicles had indeed hit head on with one then traveling off the road and ending up in a front yard.  The vehicles occupants were checked out by EMS and the Ambulance transported one of the drivers to the hospital.  Fire crews meanwhile directed traffic as well as cleaned up the fluids that spilled during the accident.  Units remained on scene until both vehicles were removed from the scene.  (more)

1-13-12 Installation Dinner
On Friday January 13th the Continental Village Fire Department had a installation dinner for this years corporate and firematic officers.  In addition awards were handed out for Top Responders, Junior Firefighters Of The Year, and Firefighter Of The Year.    (more)

	1-12-12 MVA With Injuries Route 9 At Roa Hook Road
	On Thursday January 12th at around 6PM the Continental Village Fire Department and Peekskill Ambulance were dispatched to Route 9 in the area of Roa Hook Road for a report of a Motor Vehicle Accident With Injuries.  Upon arrival it was discovered that a Van had rear-ended another van at the traffic light.  The driver of the vehicle that was rear-ended was transported to Hudson Valley Hospital by Peekskill Vac and Fire Units remained on Scene until the Vehicles were removed.   (more)

1-11-12 MVA Rollover Route 9
On Wednesday January 11th the Continental Village Fire Department and Peekskill Ambulance responded for a report of a rollover motor vehicle accident with injuries.  Upon arrival it was discovered that all the victims were out of the vehicles and they were then treated and transported by Peekskill Ambulance.  Fire Units remained on scene until the vehicles were removed from the roadway.  (more)

1-10-12 Car Fire, Winston Lane
On Tuesday January 10th Continental Village Fire Department responded to a report of a car fire at a residence on Winston Lane.  Upon arrival it was discovered that the fire was already extinguished with a fire extinguisher by the homeowner.  Members conducted an investigation and determined the cause of the fire before clearing the scene.  (more)
