On Tuesday at around 1:30PM the Continental Village Fire Department along with Garrison Fire and EMS were dispatched to the Bear Mountain Bridge Road for a report of a MVA with Injuries, Car into a pole. Upon arrival units found a single vehicle had gone off the road and struck a telephone pole causing it to crack in half. Firefighters assisted EMS with packaging the driver for transport to Westchester Medical Center as well as directed traffic around the scene. Units returned to service about an hour later after the scene was turned over to Con-Ed.
