On Saturday afternoon firefighters were dispatched to a residence on Steuben Road for a report of a Chimney Fire. When units arrived on scene they found an electric heater mounted in the floor had caught fire and extended to the floor surrounding it. Firefighters quickly cut the power to the residence and extinguished the fire. Units then cut the floor around the burnt area to check for further extension.
