At approximately 6:45am The Continental Village Fire Department was dispatched to Garrison Tree Service on Route 9 for a mulch fire. Upon arrival found a large mulch pile on fire and smoldering. The incident command called in Garrison Fire Department and Putnam Valley Fire Department with tankers to assist in the operation. All units returned to service around 9:50am.
