Late Sunday night Continental Village firefighters were dispatched to a single car MVA on the Bear Mountain Bridge Road. Firefighters cleaned up a minor fluid spill, assisted the vehicle's single occupant in exiting, and directed traffic until the vehicle was removed from the roadway. Units returned to service around 8:30pm. Upon returning to the firehouse, units were made aware of a second accident, this one being a single car rollover, on the Bridge Road. Firefighters arrived on that scene and again went to work directing traffic and cleaning a fluid spill. No extrication was needed and all units returned to service around 10:15pm.
