On Thursday afternoon the Continental Village Fire Department along with Peekskill VAC were dispatched to the Bear Mountain Bridge Road for a reported MVA with injuries. Upon arrival units found a single car MVA with the driver having sustained serious injuries. EMS requested a MEDIVAC Helicopter to transport the injured party to Westchester Medical Center. Fort Montgomery FD was requested Mutual-Aid to setup and handle the Landing Zone at the Bear Mountain Traffic Circle.
