On Sunday morning the Continental Village Fire Department was dispatched to a residence on Sky Lane for a reported Structure Fire.  Fire units responded quickly and upon arrival found a large residence fully engulfed in flames.  Peekskill fire department was requested to respond with their fast team, while Garrison, Putnam Valley, Croton, and North Highlands all responded with Tankers to Carry water to the fire scene and additional firefighters.  Garrison Ambulance responded in to stand-by and provide rehab for the approximately 40 firefighters that were on scene fighting the fire. It took firefighters about 7 hours to fully extinguish the fire that's cause is still under investigation.
