Sept 6th Multiple Calls

September 6, 2017

On Wednesday Sept 6th the Continental Village Fire Department was dispatched on numerous calls throughout the day. It started in the morning with a wires down call on Sprout Brook Road, that had firefighters keeping the roadway closed for about an hour while waiting for Con-Ed to Show up. In the evening Firefighters were dispatched to Bear Mountain Bridge Road along with Peekskill Ambulance for a MVA rollover with Injuries. After clearing that scene firefighters handled a fluid spill from a MVA at Annsville Circle before returning to quarters. A little while after being back in service Firefighters and EMS were dispatched back up to the Bear Mountain Bridge Road for another MVA with injuries. The last call to round out the day was a Mutual-Aid Stand-by for Garrison FD who responded to a possible structure fire, that turned out to be an electrical problem in the residence.
