At tonight's meeting the Continental Village Fire Department recognized two of it's very best. Firefighter of the year was presented to Firefighter/EMT Mathew Cashman (right), who has consistently been devoted to service and education since he joined the CVFD nearly 5 years ago. Junior Firefighter of the year was presented to Dylan Meaney (left), who has shown exemplary potential and prowess since he joined the CVFD as a Junior Firefighter earlier this year. Both Cashman and Meaney are fine examples of individual service to the community.
