On Wednesday afternoon the Continental Village Fire Department was dispatched Mutual-Aid to Garrison Fd to set up a landing Zone at their station 2 for a serious MVA on route 9. Firefighter quickly arrived on scene and coordinated the landing of two helicopters, as well as directed traffic near the LZ to reduce the risk of a second MVA by distracted drivers.
