On Monday afternoon the Continental Village Fire Department was dispatched to a Building on Roa Hook Road for a reported tree down through the roof. Upon arrival firefighters determined that it was actually two large trees that came down through the roof. Firefighters checked the structure to make sure it was empty, and called for Con-Ed to Secure the utilities. The town of Cortlandt Code Enforcement / Building Department was also called to the scene and the building was deemed unsafe to enter. After the utilities were cut and the building was secured fire units returned to service.
