On Sunday at around noon the Continental Village Fire Department along with Peekskill Ambulance were dispatched to the Bear Mountain Bridge Road for a reported Motor vehicle accident with injuries. Upon arrival units found two vehicles had collided head-on with 3 people reporting injuries. It was quickly determined that one of the injured parties needed to be extricated do to heavy damage to the passenger side of the vehicle and firefighters went to work removing the front and rear doors in addition to the B post to give EMS access to remove the patient. Units returned to service after the vehicles were removed from the roadway.
