On Sunday night the Continental Village Fire Department along with Garrison & Peekskill VAC were dispatched to route 9 in the area of South Mountain Pass for a reported MVA with Injuries. Once on scene units found that one of the occupants needed to be extricated. Firefighters quickly went to work to remove the drivers door so that ems could remove the patient. Both drivers were transported to the hospital while fire units cleaned up the fluids and directed traffic until the vehicles were removed from the roadway.
