On Tuesday night, Continental Village Fire Department along with Peekskill Community Volunteer Ambulance Corp, had a joint drill about EMS operations and certain fire operations. The agencies work hand-in-hand in a lot of emergency calls and it’s important for each crews to be familiar with the equipment necessary for whatever situation may arise. PCVAC members assisted in showing firefighters stretcher operations and stair chair operations, as well as going over equipment used for a cardiac arrest. Firefighters from CVFD then briefly touched upon certain equipment used by the members on wildfire/hiker calls.
