5-23-09 High Angle Rescue, Bear Mountain Bridge Road

On Saturday the 23rd the Continental Village Fire Dept was operating at a PIAA on the Bear Mountain Bridge Road When it got dispatched for a person who jumped / fell of a cliff just down the road. Units immediately responded from the first scene a found the victim at the bottom of a 30 to 40 foot cliff. The patient was observed to be alert with "altered mental status" and sitting on the ground. Peekskill Fire Departments rope rescue team was immediately called in to assist with the High angle rescue.
