August 13, 2014

On Wednesday night at around 7:30PM The Continental Village FD and Garrison Ambulance were dispatched to Aqueduct Road for a report of an MVA with injuries. When units arrived on scene they found a two car head-on with two injuries. EMS quickly requested a Medevac for one of the injured and a Landing Zone was set up at the Sprout Brook baseball fields. A second ambulance was also brought in to transport the other injured driver to Hudson Valley Hospital. Garrison FD was requested with an engine to assist at the LZ. After both patients were transported Continental Village stayed on scene and provided lighting for the accident investigation, while Garrison stayed on stand-by in their own quarters to cover calls in both districts. Units returned to service at around 10:30PM.
