On Tuesday at around noon the Continental Village and Garrison Fire Departments along with Peekskill Ambulance were dispatched to Route 9 in the Area of the 123 Deli for a report of a MVA with injuries. Upon arrival units found a single vehicle had gone off the road and into the woods. The driver was out of the vehicle and was checked for injuries by Peekskill Ambulance corp. Firefighters disconnected the battery in the vehicle and used a chain saw to cut vines, trees, and bushes out of the way for the flat bed to remove the vehicle. All units went back into service after the vehicle was removed from the woods.
