| On Monday night at around 10:30 PM the Continental Village Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a brush fire on route 9 north of Winston Lane. Upon arrival it was determined that the fire was actually in Garrison Fire Departments district and they were then dispatched. Firefighters used 1000 gallons of water from Continental Village's Engine and about 750 gallons of a water foam mix from Garrison FD's engine to extinguish the fire and wet down the surrounding area. Firefighters from both department s cleared the scene around 11:30 PM. |
