Structure Fire, Wharton Ln.

On Wednesday around 3:30pm the Continental Village Fire Department along with Garrison Fire were dispatched to a report of a structure fire on Wharton Ln. On arrival firefighters discovered a small fire in the ground floor of the house. Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire and checked for extension. After the fire was contained the Cause and Origin team was called to help determine how the fire started. Peekskill OEM was called to help the displaced homeowner and Buchanan's Cascade was called to fill air packs. Units were able to clear the scene around 5:30pm.
