On Tuesday morning around 3:45am the Continental Village Fire Department was requested to the scene of a structure fire in on Tanglewylde Rd. in Putnam Valley. Putnam Valley Fire along with Mohegan F.A.S.T. had been operating at this location a few hours early and had just cleared the scene when the fire reignited, engulfing what was left of the house in flames. Despite the freezing temperatures and moderate snowfall, firefighters from all three departments were able to get the fire under control quickly . Firefighters began putting out any remaining pockets of fire and hotspots and remained on scene until around 7:30 am.
