On Tuesday afternoon the Continental Village, and Garrison Fire Departments along with Peekskill VAC were dispatched to the Bear Mountain Bridge Road for a report of a MVA with injuries. Upon arrival Car 2131 found two vehicles had collided on a blind turn in the area of the Monteverdi Restaurant. He advised responding units that one of the drivers needed to be extricated. When firefighters arrived on scene they immediately went to work stabilizing the vehicle and extricating the driver. The driver was transported to the hospital by Peekskill Vac and fire units remained on scene until the vehicles were removed from the roadway.
