Around 2am Sunday morning Firefighters from the Continental Village Fire Department were dispatched to a report of a rolled over van with 6 occupants in the Monteverde area of Bear Mountain Bridge Rd. Mutual Aid from the Garrison Fire Department was requested to close traffic on the north side of the road. The occupants of the vehicle self-extricated, with help from EMS personnel on scene, through a hole kicked out of the windshield. Firefighters held traffic and controlled a sizable gasoline spill from the van until it was flipped and removed from the roadway.
