On Wednesday Afternoon the Continental Village Fire Department was requested to respond Mutual-Aid to Garrison with A Brush Truck and Tanker for a large brush fire. Firefighters were assigned to make a fire break along a service road in the woods. Garrison Chief also requested that One of CVFDs officers go up in the NY State Police Helicopter to direct units to pockets of fire and relay the overall progress of firefighting efforts. While at the fire Peekskill stood-by in CVFDs headquarters.
