On July 14 around 10:15 am the Continental Village Fire Department along with Peekskill Community Volunteer Ambulance Corps and 35 Medic 1 were dispatched to an MVA car down the embankment on Bear Mountain Bridge Road south of the overlook. Upon arrival found 1 patient out of the vehicle in care of EMS while the vehicle was down the embankment. Peekskill EMS transported the patient advanced life support to Westchester Medical Center. Continental Village fire units stayed on scene until the vehicle was pulled up the embankment and put on the flatbed tow truck.
