On Friday afternoon Continental Village Fire Department and Peekskill Ambulance were dispatched to a reported MVA head-on on Route 9 in the area of the Table 9 restaurant. Upon arrival units found a pickup truck and a compact car had struck head-on injuring both drivers. The pickup truck was trailering a boat at the time and the impact of the collision caused the boat to fly off the trailer and land in the middle of the roadway. Units put down speedy-dry to clean up the fluids that spilled from all three vehicles. Units returned to service after the vehicles were removed from the roadway.
