On Tuesday afternoon the Continental Village Firefighters responded to a vehicle collision on Sprout Brook Rd. A sedan crashed into the back of a parked UPS delivery truck. All occupants were able to get out of their vehicles and Garrison Ambulance transported the occupants of the sedan to the hospital. Firefighters hit the cars battery, which was destroyed and began smoking, with a fire extinguisher and cleared the scene after the vehicles were removed from the roadway.
