On Sunday morning 8 firefighters from Continental Village FD went to the Putnam County Training Center to take part in a Flashover Training session. The Class was put on by New York State Association of Fire Chiefs and travels around the state. Firefighters learned about and witnessed first hand the warning signs of a flashover in a controlled setting.
