High Levels Of CO In A Structure, Roa Hook Road

On Wednesday afternoon the Continental Village Fire Department was dispatched to the Table 9 Restaurant for a reported activated fire alarm. Upon arrival units found heave smoke coming from the chimney and a smoke condition in the basement with high CO readings throughout the restaurant. Units quickly confirmed the boiler was shut down and evacuated the restaurant. Units then started Ventilating the building and Monitoring the CO levels. Peekskill's Ladder truck was requested to the scene for additional fans and to asses the roof and flu pipe. Units operated on scene for approximately 2 hours.
