On Sunday Morning firefighters from Continental Village FD along with EMS units from Peekskill and Garrison took part in an Ice Rescue Drill at Spy Pond. Firefighters took turns donning Dry suits and going out onto the ice to simulate a rescue of a person who had fallen through the ice. The patient was then turned over to EMS for a assessment.
