On Thursday night the Continental Village FD was dispatched to a residence on Winston Lane for a inside odor of burning. Upon arrival units investigated the residence and found a active chimney fire. Firefighters used chain and dry chem to extinguished the stubborn fire. All units were in service about an hour later.
