On Thursday, 4/13, the Continental Village Fire Department was called to Montrose to help fight a large area Brush Fire in the woods near Washington Street and Pine Lane. The fire originally started as a small roadside fire before fanning out across nearly 40 acres of woodlands. CVFD provided Tanker 11, Mini-Attack 4 and Utility 141 with brushfire equipment and manpower.
