On Sunday morning around 10am, Continental Village Fire Department was dispatched to relocate to the City of Peekskill Fire Department headquarters while they operated at a structure fire. Car 2132 and Engine 231 responded promptly and relocated to PFD Headquarters along with Montrose LT 8. While standing by, Peekskill incident command had requested his 2nd alarm assignment due to the labor intensive tasks. Upon the 2nd alarm, CVFD Car 2132 & Engine 231 were requested to the scene of the fire. Upon arrival units met with Peekskill Fire Incident Command and were requested to assist with operations in Division 3. Units assisted with operations in this division, and then shortly after, were redirected to Division 2 to assist with locating hotspots and further fire suppression. Units continued to operate in this division until it was deemed under control. Once units wrapped up in Division 2, crews assisted with backing out the hose-line and picking up tools from inside. Shortly after, CVFD was released from the scene by the IC. Units were in service around 1300hrs.
