Last night on Tuesday, 02/06/2024, Chief Robert Boddie Jr. of Continental Village Fire Department, along with, Chief Jeff Phillips of Cold Spring Fire Department received a proclamation from the Putnam County Legislature for their heroic actions taken during the structure fire on January 15th, 2024 at Roa Hook Road and successfully pulling out 1 female and 1 female child from the burning structure. Members of the CVFD are proud of both Chiefs for their actions taken during this incident and congratulate them on receiving this award.
