On Sunday May 19th & Tuesday May 28th some of our interior firefighters did their annual bailout recertification jumps. Interior firefighters are required to show proficiency with their personal escape system on a yearly basis in order to remain a interior qualified firefighter. A firefighter would use his personal escape system in the real world if they became trapped on a upper floor of a burning structure and had access to a window.
