On Wednesday morning the Continental Village Fire Department along with Peekskill VAC and Cortlandt Reginal Paramedics were dispatched to Route 9 in the area of Jack Road for a reported MVA car vs telephone pole with possible entrapment. Upon arrival units found a single vehicle accident where the vehicle had left the road way went through a telephone pole and rolled into the stream next to the roadway. The driver of the vehicle was checked out by EMS before they returned to service. FD units remained on scene until the vehicle was removed from the scene.
