| On Friday afternoon, the Continental Village Fire Department and Garrison Volunteer Ambulance Corps were dispatched to Sprout Brook Road for a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries. Upon arrival, firefighters found a single vehicle that had struck a retaining wall. Firefighters secured the vehicle’s electrical system, cleaned up fluids, and directed traffic while Garrison VAC assessed the occupants of the car. The fire department returned to service after the vehicle was removed from the roadway. |
