On Tuesday night, members of the CVFD participated in vehicle extrication training with neighboring partners at Garrison Fire Department. Personnel from both departments worked with a vehicle to practice cutting techniques and familiarize themselves with various tools. The group also had the opportunity to train with eDRAULIC equipment provided by Garrison FD. The eDRAULIC tools use a built-in electric motor and battery to generate high fluid pressure, eliminating the need for heavy hoses and external engines, and making the process of cutting a vehicle easier.

The CVFD appreciates Garrison Fire Department for providing access to these tools and facilitating the training session.

An additional thank you to CJ Stilwell for capturing all the photos taken at the training!
