On Thursday night at around 8:45pm the Continental Village Fire Department was dispatched to aid Putnam Valley Fire Department who had been operating at a structure fire in their district. Continental Village's tanker, as well as Mohegan Lake's FAST Team were requested to the scene. Once on scene CVFD sent their Interior firefighters to the manpower pool and they were used to aid in locating and extinguishing hot spots left by the fire in the basement, while exterior firefighters aided in support roles. When all hot spots where extinguished, Continental Village was released from the scene at around 10:15pm.
