On Tuesday night members of the Garrison and Continental Village Fire Departments as well as Peekskill Ambulance Corps. participated in a joint training exercise simulating a two car accident with major injuries. Firefighters were put to the test, practicing all their extrication techniques to gain access to the patients inside the vehicles. Once the cars were cut up and opened, medical personnel went in and practiced removing patients from their vehicles and caring for them while en route to the hospital.
