On Tuesday at around 5:30 PM The Continental Village Fire Department and Peekskill Ambulance were dispatched to Annsville Circle for a report of a Tractor Trailer rollover with possible extrication. When units arrived on scene they found that the driver had self extricated himself by kicking out a section of the windshield, he was then treated and transported to the hospital by Peekskill Ambulance. Firefighters also found that the truck was leaking fuel onto the road and used absorbent pads and speedy dry to contain the spill. Firefighters then disconnected the batteries on the truck and stood by while a tow company righted the truck and cleaned up the Ash that it was carrying and spilled. Fire units cleared the scene and were back in service around 9 PM.
