Members of Continental Village Fire Department kept busy throughout the tropical storm that had occurred the previous day. Camp Smith Hydrant Testing

Today, members of the Continental Village Fire Department, took some time to conduct hydrant testing at Camp Smith! These tests occur annually and consist of the members going around and testing each hydrant on the base to ensure they’re in working order and have a consistent flow, crews also make sure the condition of the hydrant is stable and that there’s no damage, leaks or cracks. ... MVA, Car Over The Embankment, Bear Mt Bridge Road

On Thursday morning at around 9AM the Continental Village Fire Department, along with Peekskill VAC and Cortlandt Regional Paramedics responded to the Bear Mountain Bridge Road for a reported MVA with Injuries car down an embankment. Yearly Bailout Training
May 28
On Sunday May 19th & Tuesday May 28th some of our interior firefighters did their annual bailout recertification jumps. Interior firefighters are required to show proficiency with their personal escape system on a yearly basis in order to remain a interior qualified firefighter.
