On January 1st the Continental Village Fire Department assisted the City of Peekskill Fire Department with a Stand by for the 13th Annual Polar Plunge that is organized by the This Is Me Foundation. On Tuesday, October 28th, Continental Village Fire Department came together with Peekskill Community Volunteer Ambulance Corp to conduct a joint training. The CVFD members reviewed their turnout gear, the Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), and the facepiece they use when wearing an SCBA. On Sunday, October 26th, CVFD had the honor of leading the families of Continental Village in a Halloween march! Multiple crews came together to shut down various roads to ensure the safety of all that were marching in the street.
