MVA, Car Over The Embankment, Bear Mt Bridge Road

On Thursday morning at around 9AM the Continental Village Fire Department, along with Peekskill VAC and Cortlandt Regional Paramedics responded to the Bear Mountain Bridge Road for a reported MVA with Injuries car down an embankment. Yearly Bailout Training

On Sunday May 19th & Tuesday May 28th some of our interior firefighters did their annual bailout recertification jumps. Interior firefighters are required to show proficiency with their personal escape system on a yearly basis in order to remain a interior qualified firefighter. Joint UTV Training w/ Peekskill VAC

This is past Sunday, May 5th 2024, members of Continental Village Fire Department and Peekskill Community Volunteer Ambulance Corp. Each planned and partook in a UTV training up in the Old Campgrounds off of Sprout Brook Road. Annual Award Ceremony

On Thursday night, members from CVFD were presented with our annual awards for our Top Responders and Firefighter of the Year. On top of that, members who were present at the fatal motor vehicle accident with extrication on December 15th were awarded with a Unit Citation award and a Meritorious Service Award.

Peekskill St Patrick’s Parade
