MVA With Injuries, Bear Mountain Bridge Road

February 23

On Sunday Afternoon the Continental Village Fire Department along with Peekskill EMS were dispatched to the Bear Mountain Bridge Road for a reported MVA with injuries involving a motorcycle. EMS units tended the the injured biker while FD units moved the bike off the road and handled traffic until EMS cleared the scene.... (Full Story & Photos)

February 21

On Friday night the Continental Village Fire Department along with Garrison Ambulance were dispatched to the Old Albany Post Road for a Reported MVA Rollover with injuries. When units arrived on scene they found a single vehicle MVA with the vehicle on its roof and the occupant out of the vehicle. Open Burn & Pump Ops Drill

February 04

On Tuesday night firefighters trained on drafting with portable pumps to feed an engine. Firefighters also trained on containing and extinguishing an open burn and incorporated Mask Confidence training for the interior firefighters as well.... (Full Story & Photos)

Mask Confidence Drill

January 15

On Tuesday night firefighters trained on the use of Self Contained Breathing Apparatus or SCBA's. One of the Apparatus Bays was filled with training smoke so firefighters could search for a victim in near zero viability to mimic real fire conditions.... (Full Story & Photos)
