Annual Award Ceremony

On Thursday night, members from CVFD were presented with our annual awards for our Top Responders and Firefighter of the Year. On top of that, members who were present at the fatal motor vehicle accident with extrication on December 15th were awarded with a Unit Citation award and a Meritorious Service Award.

Peekskill St Patrick’s Parade

Joint drill w/ PCVAC

On Tuesday night, Continental Village Fire Department along with Peekskill Community Volunteer Ambulance Corp, had a joint drill about EMS operations and certain fire operations. The agencies work hand-in-hand in a lot of emergency calls and it’s important for each crews to be familiar with the equipment necessary for whatever situation may arise. Proclamation for Chief Boddie & Chief Phillips

Last night on Tuesday, 02/06/2024, Chief Robert Boddie Jr. of Continental Village Fire Department, along with, Chief Jeff Phillips of Cold Spring Fire Department received a proclamation from the Putnam County Legislature for their heroic actions taken during the structure fire on January 15th, 2024 at Roa Hook Road and successfully pulling out 1 female and 1 female child from the burning structure. ... Mutual Aid 2nd Alarm Fire, City of Peekskill

On Sunday morning around 10am, Continental Village Fire Department was dispatched to relocate to the City of Peekskill Fire Department headquarters while they operated at a structure fire. Car 2132 and Engine 231 responded promptly and relocated to PFD Headquarters along with Montrose LT 8.
