Wires Down With Brush Fire, Roa Hook Road
June 18
On Thursday afternoon, the Continental Village Fire Department responded to Roa Hook Road following a report of downed wires with an active fire. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered that a fallen tree had struck power lines, causing them to break and ignite a brush fire. Con Edison was called to the scene to disconnect power. Tuesday Night Team Bonding!

Sometimes, we take a break from training and emergency calls to simply enjoy each other’s company. Last night, June 16th, a handful of our members headed over to HQ Racing for an evening of fun and friendly competition. Building strong bonds off duty helps strengthen the teamwork we rely on when responding to our community’s emergencies.

MVA With Injuries, Sprout Brook Road

On Friday afternoon, the Continental Village Fire Department and Garrison Volunteer Ambulance Corps were dispatched to Sprout Brook Road for a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries.
