On Sunday night, the Continental Village Fire Department, Peekskill Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and Cortlandt Regional Paramedics were dispatched to Roa Hook Road near Camp Smith for a motor vehicle accident involving several vehicles, with reports indicating extrication might be needed. Structure Fire, Sprout Brook Road
March 11
On Monday night at approximately 8 p.m., the Continental Village Fire Department responded to a reported kitchen fire at a residence on Sprout Brook Road. Upon arrival, Car 2132 observed a neighbor using a garden hose to spray water through a broken window in the home's front door. Car 2132 then requested additional resources for a working structure fire.

Ice Rescue Drill, Spy Pond

CVFD Hydrant Cleaning

On Tuesday night, February 3, members of the CVFD visited locations throughout the community to assist residents who were unable to clear snow from fire hydrants. NYS strongly urges all residents who are able to safely do so to clear at least three feet of snow from all sides of hydrants. This helps ensure that hydrants are easily visible and accessible in the event of an emergency.

Polar Plunge Stand By
January 01
On January 1st the Continental Village Fire Department assisted the City of Peekskill Fire Department with a Stand by for the 13th Annual Polar Plunge that is organized by the This Is Me Foundation.
