Search & Rescue Drill
January 12
On Tuesday night firefighters went over Basic Search and Rescue techniques for a primary search. Firefighters started the drill by inspecting their gear and reviewed tools that can be used to help with searching. Car Fire, Albany Post Road
December 28
On Monday afternoon the Continental Village Fire Department was dispatched to Albany Post road in front of the Cortlandt Colonial Restaurant for a reported Car fire next to the structure. Upon arrival units found a car pulled off the road with a active fire in the engine compartment. MVA With Injuries, Bear Mountain Bridge Road
November 29
On Sunday morning the Continental Village Fire Department along with Peekskill VAC and Cortlandt Medics were dispatched to the Bear Mountain Bridge Road for a reported MVA Head-On With Entrapment. Units responded quickly and upon arrival found that no extrication was needed. MVA Rollover, Bear Mountain Bridge Road
November 16
At around Noon the Continental Village Fire Department along with Peekskill VAC were dispatched to Bear Mountain Bridge Road for a reported MVA Rollover with Injuries. Upon arrival units found a single vehicle MVA with the car on its roof and all occupants out of the vehicle and uninjured.
