MVA With Injuries, Route 9

On Friday morning the Continental Village Fire Department along with Garrison Fire and Ambulance were dispatched to Route 9 in the area of Morgan Court for a reported Motor Vehicle Accident with injuries. Upon arrival firefighters found a two car MVA where one vehicle had rear ended a second causing both operators to sustain injures and require transport to Hudson Valley Hospital. WCVFA - Unit Citation

On Friday night, September 13th, a couple of members from the CVFD took a trip to Millwood FD for the Westchester County Volunteer Firefighters Association (WCVFA) meeting and during this meeting, The department received a Unit Citation of “Firefighter of the Year” for the valiant actions taken on January 15th, 2024 that rescued many lives from the structure fire that had occurred at 56 Roa Hook Road. ...
