Early Sunday morning the Continental Village Fire Department along with units from Yormktown, Millwood, and Montrose VA Fire Departments where requested to assist Croton-on-Hudson Fire at a structure fire. Upon arrival units that the structure involved was abandoned. Firefighters went to work extinguishing the fire while a water supply operation, using tankers, was put into place. The Fire was knocked down with the cause under investigation. Units where put back into service around 8:45am.
